Requirements

Candidates must possess a minimum of 7 years of professional experience in IT, with at least 5 years of experience specifically in Operational Technology (OT) or Internet of Things (IoT) security or architecture. A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree is required, or equivalent demonstrated experience. Knowledge of relevant standards such as ISA/IEC 62443, ISO27000, and NIST series is essential, along with experience writing and updating OT/IoT security policies and procedures. Demonstrated specialty skills in areas like Zero Trust Architecture (ZTA), Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), and Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) are also required. Furthermore, the ability to obtain a Government security clearance is necessary.

Responsibilities

The Cyber Security Consultant - OT will consult and lead teams to build and audit a secure OT/IoT architecture, present relevant and secure architectures to solve client problems, identify and present security implications of implementations, recommend OT/IoT changes to address security risks and non-compliance, maintain awareness of client business requirements, and effectively communicate with management, technical teams, and stakeholders. The role also involves presenting proposed security architectures to various audiences and participating in system certification preparation.
