Requirements

Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree or higher in a physical/chemical science or engineering-related field, with a Master’s or PhD being preferred. They must have at least 8 years of microfabrication process engineering experience, demonstrating expertise in Chemical Vapor Deposition (CVD), with experience in Atomic Layer Deposition (ALD) being a plus. Strong track record in CVD process development, optimization, Design of Experiments (DOE), and problem-solving is required, along with in-depth knowledge of microfabrication metrologies and data analysis. Proficiency in computer and software skills, including Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, is necessary, with experience in JMP being a preferred asset. U.S. citizenship is also required.

Responsibilities

The CVD/ALD Process Engineer will work with integration and production teams to accomplish goals, design and execute experiments for process development and optimization projects, contribute to structured failure-analysis projects, analyze experimental data, maintain tool uptime proactively through SPC, and assist with hands-on wafer processing when needed. They will also interface with technology customers on development and optimization projects and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
