Responsibilities

  • Efficiently operates bindery equipment (Folio, Cutter, Drill, Perforator, or Padder): moves work from conveyor to equipment; ensures work is even to prevent jams; pushes buttons to operate equipment; removes work from equipment; performs required quality checks; moves work from equipment to conveyor; cleans and restocks workstation
  • Performs required preventative maintenance
  • Performs other tasks as assigned
  • Kills-out orders that need reprocessing due to defects in printing or binding processes
  • Prioritizes and selects jobs to maximize workflow while balancing rush and service commitments and goals
