Responsibilities

  • Greet customers warmly, offer assistance, guide to departments/products, provide promotional info, and thank them upon exit
  • Monitor entry/exit points for security, check receipts, and deter theft
  • Explain membership processes/benefits, process sign-ups/replacements, handle inquiries/cancellations/reinstatements, and conduct drives
  • Scan/process items accurately at checkout, handle fragile items, process payments (cash/cards/mobile), apply discounts
  • Provide customer service: personalize interactions, assist with price checks/returns/exchanges, escalate issues
  • Perform cash counts, maintain secure drawer, conduct cash drops, report discrepancies
  • Maintain cleanliness/organization of entrance/exit/checkout areas, retrieve u-boats, assist with zoning, report maintenance issues
  • Support loss prevention by reporting suspicious activity, assist with store opening/closing, seasonal displays, cross-training
  • Attend pre-shift meetings, relay information during shift changes, communicate with team, participate in meetings/training
  • Follow safety protocols, report accidents/injuries, adhere to cash-handling security
  • Stay updated on store info, seek feedback, participate in training for continuous improvement
