Requirements

Minimum 7.5 years of experience (additional information specifies minimum 10 years)
15 years full-time education
Strong, hands-on expertise in Java and Spring Boot; experience with Java JFuse development
Solid understanding of the Java platform with project experience in Java JEE and Spring Boot
Hands-on experience with microservices architecture
Strong knowledge of Java 8 functional programming and Spring Boot
Experience with B2C/B2B Hybris accelerators; familiarity with Hybris ORM, WCMS, Backoffice, Cockpits, and SOLR (plus)
Experience integrating multiple payment providers
Good understanding of application servers, SQL (MySQL, Oracle, DB2, SQL Server), and XML
Exposure to HTML, JavaScript, and jQuery
Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with stakeholders at various levels
Strong active listening, multitasking, and organizational skills
Logical problem-solving ability and adherence to processes and guidelines
Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment
Must have skills: Spring Boot
Good to have skills: GraphQL (Query Language)

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain microservices-based applications using Java
Collaborate with key business and IT stakeholders to gather requirements, evaluate design alternatives, facilitate discussions, and deliver innovative solutions
Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code aligned with API standardization practices
Participate in code reviews and help shape coding best practices
Mentor junior engineers and strengthen the team’s engineering culture
Develop, test, and deploy integrations to support specific business needs
Apply creative problem-solving skills and guide team members in resolving technical challenges
Conduct design reviews to ensure solutions align with architectural, security, scalability, and maintainability standards
Provide engineering leadership within the squad and contribute to the broader engineering community and standards
Promote and uphold a test-first development approach and implement clean architecture principles
Lead the effort to design, build, and configure applications, acting as the primary point of contact
Collaborate with various teams to ensure project requirements are met and oversee the development process
Provide guidance to team members and engage in problem-solving activities to optimize applications for performance and user experience
Stay updated with the latest technologies and methodologies to enhance the development process and deliver high-quality software solutions
