Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in a science related field required (Biology, Genetics, Chemistry or related life science field preferred); Alternatively, an Associate’s degree or equivalent with 2 years of IDT experience
2 years applicable lab experience

Responsibilities

Perform and analyze a variety of QC tests according to Standard Operating Procedures and accurately document results via established product specifications
Perform data entry and peer review for accuracy in accordance with lab procedures
Perform maintenance and calibration on a variety of specialized equipment and assist in troubleshooting as needed
Evaluate products in support of all manufacturing areas in accordance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO13485 requirements, including performing in-process and final QC testing to determine the pass/fail status of products using a wide variety of molecular biology methods and specialized equipment
