High School or GED Equivalent, or one to three months related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience
Ability to work specified hours: Monday - Friday 3:30pm-12:00am, rotating weekends/holidays, 80-hours/2 weeks
Visual acuity adequate to perform position duties
Ability to communicate effectively with others, hear, understand, and distinguish speech and other sounds

Responsibilities

Maintain a clean/neat environment in assigned areas including patient rooms, offices, nurses' stations, lounges, hallways, bathrooms, kitchen areas, elevators, stairwells, and lobby areas
Participate in cleaning activities such as cleaning walls, ceilings, vents, lights, baseboards, windows/glass, and replacing light bulbs
Maintain clean/neat floor surfaces through dusting, buffing, scrubbing, strip/sealing, waxing, extracting, and vacuuming
Properly remove and dispose of trash, recycling, and regulated medical waste, including pickup, boxing, shredding, and maintaining cleanliness of receptacles
Participate in relocation of office and other general hospital furniture/equipment as necessary

Uphold standards of Communication, Attitude, Responsiveness, and Engagement (CARE)
Maintain confidentiality and work effectively in a team environment
Comply with safety principles, laws, regulations, and standards (e.g., CMS, The Joint Commission, DHHS, OSHA)
Perform other duties as assigned
