Custodian experience required
High School or GED Equivalent, or one to three months related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience
Ability to work Monday-Friday 3:30pm - 12:00am, 80 hours every 2 weeks, including rotating weekends and holidays
Visual acuity adequate to perform position duties
Ability to communicate effectively with others, hear, understand, and distinguish speech and other sounds

Responsibilities

Maintain a clean/neat environment in assigned areas, including patient rooms, offices, nurses' stations, lounges, hallways, bathrooms, kitchen areas, elevators, stairwells, and lobby areas
Participate in cleaning activities such as cleaning walls, ceilings, vents, lights, baseboards, windows/glass, and replacing light bulbs
Maintain clean/neat floor surfaces through dusting, buffing, scrubbing, strip/sealing, waxing, extracting, and vacuuming
Properly dispose of trash, including pickup, boxing, shredding, recycling, regulated medical waste, and maintaining cleanliness of receptacles
Participate in relocation of office and general hospital furniture/equipment as necessary
Responsible for proper removal of trash, recycling, and regulated medical waste
