Responsibilities

  • Perform daily plant care activities, such as watering, pruning, and monitoring plant health to ensure plants are thriving in all stages of growth (veg, flower, etc.)
  • Assist in transplanting plants into new containers and media, ensuring proper techniques are used to support healthy root development
  • Regularly prune plants to maintain appropriate shape and canopy structure, ensuring maximum light exposure and air circulation. Assist with topping, lollipopping, and other plant training techniques as needed
  • Assist in monitoring room conditions, such as temperature, humidity, and CO2 levels, to maintain an optimal environment for plant growth. Report any discrepancies or concerns to the supervisor
  • Assist with harvesting plants at the appropriate time, including cutting, bucking, and preparing plants for drying. Ensure plants are handled properly to maintain quality
  • Ensure accurate record-keeping of plant growth, health observations, and tasks performed. Document any issues or adjustments made during the cultivation process
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment. Clean and sanitize tools, equipment, and work areas regularly to meet compliance and sanitation standards
