Responsibilities

The Video Editor and Animator will arrange, assemble, and process recorded and stock footage into seamless, engaging videos, creating content for YouTube Shorts, TikTok, and Instagram Reels. They will edit film pieces to ensure smooth transitions, handle and organize video files, export videos for mobile and web distribution, and implement new editing technologies and best practices. The role involves understanding production team needs, reviewing scripts and raw footage, trimming and sequencing footage, adding music and effects, producing rough and final cuts, and consulting with stakeholders. Additionally, the editor will develop and execute strategies to attract and retain subscribers on the Token Metrics YouTube channel, ensuring compliance with journalistic standards, adjusting formats and file sizes, and exploring different editing directions.
