Requirements

  • Expertise as CRM-level subject matter expert on competitive market dynamics, product lines, and positioning
  • Ability to manage CRM-level competitive intelligence and response strategies
  • Capability to coordinate and lead the CRM Competitive Council (comprised of CRM and OU-competitive leads, and global partners)
  • Proficiency in monitoring competitive threats and information (e.g., product announcements, press releases, quality actions, advertising, clinical data, investor calls, regulatory filings, customer feedback)
  • Experience working with CRM strategy partners on product pipelines, portfolio positioning, and pricing
  • Skills in providing input and guidance to CRM commercial marketing for consistent messaging, training, materials, language, tone, format, and tools related to competitive activity
  • Ability to liaise with other OU marketing and competitive product experts
  • Competence in maintaining centralized competitive information (e.g., product manuals, performance reports, specifications)
  • Leadership in facilitating monthly and quarterly CRM Competitive Council meetings and action items
  • Availability for full-time onsite work (minimum 4 days a week)

Responsibilities

  • Monitor the CRM space for competitive threats and information, including competitive product announcements, press releases, quality actions, advertising and promotion, clinical data, investor calls, regulatory filings, and customer feedback
  • Work with CRM strategy partners to supplement product pipelines, portfolio positioning, and pricing
  • Work with CRM commercial marketing to provide input and guidance for consistent messaging and training related to competitive activity
  • Work with CRM commercial marketing to drive consistency in materials, language, tone, format for competitive collateral, sales training, programs, and tools
  • Liaise with other OU marketing and competitive product experts to provide and obtain insights
  • Maintain centralized competitive information, including competitive product manuals and labeling, performance reports, and specifications (e.g., compare.medtronic.com)
  • Lead monthly CRM Competitive Council meetings and facilitate action items
  • Lead quarterly extended CRM Competitive Council meetings (including regions/global) and facilitate action items
