Responsibilities

  • Manage customers with a low sophisticated portfolio to ensure compliance with payment terms and credit limits, using ERP, Order Release Portal, and Cforia/GetPaid for visibility
  • Perform risk assessments on new and existing accounts and recommend credit limits, risk categories, and terms
  • Assist the team in achieving annual collections targets and support credit risk assessments
  • Track unapplied/unidentified payments
  • Perform financial statement analysis and recommend credit line increases per approval matrix
  • Review and document the "Credit Hold" process
  • Release orders on hold based on credit analysis of customers' trade AR
  • Set up credit terms for new clients and handle reviews and issuance of requests for extended payment terms
  • Negotiate payment plans
  • Liaise with customers and the commercial department
  • Identify and analyze credit notes, debit notes, and misapplied cash, advising departments to zero out account balances or return cash
  • Facilitate credit card payments for invoices with Cash Apps under supervisor approval
  • Ensure correct upload of customer invoices to portals or via email
  • Handle company web billing systems and supporting infrastructure
  • Collaborate with customers on inquiries, provide updates to leaders, negotiate resolutions, prepare data, educate partners on guidelines, and support sales goals
  • Prepare statements and reports for the company accountant
  • Manage own email inbox with urgency, prioritization, customer service, and organization
  • Inform supervisor of uncollectable accounts after exhaustive collection efforts for referral to collections agency or legal
  • Participate in updating Job Aids or supporting documentation
  • Ensure timely and accurate upload of invoices to client platforms to promote payment
