Expert & Leadership (9+ years)
Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years of direct experience credentialing healthcare providers for Medicare and commercial insurance plans. Proven hands-on experience with primary source verification and compliance standards is required. Proficiency with PECOS and CAQH systems, including maintaining and updating provider records, is essential. Exceptional attention to detail, a structured and highly organized approach, strong written and verbal communication skills, and a service-oriented, collaborative mindset are necessary. The ability to adapt and learn quickly in a fast-paced environment, comfort navigating multiple systems, and a results-driven commitment to accuracy and compliance are also required.
The Credentialing Associate will act as the primary point of contact for assigned providers and insurance payors, preparing, submitting, and tracking credentialing applications. They will perform primary source verification for licenses and certifications, assist providers with CAQH profiles, and collaborate cross-functionally to resolve issues. The role involves maintaining up-to-date provider records and communicating clearly with providers and partners throughout the credentialing process, while also partnering with external payors to address delays.
Connects clients with licensed therapists
SonderMind connects individuals seeking therapy with licensed therapists to improve access to mental health services. The company uses a digital platform that matches clients with therapists based on their specific needs, such as anxiety or depression. This matching process ensures clients find the right support. For therapists, SonderMind simplifies the connection with clients, appointment management, and billing, allowing them to focus on care rather than administrative tasks. The company generates revenue through client fees and insurance reimbursements, as it partners with major insurance providers. SonderMind's goal is to make mental health care more accessible and efficient for both clients and therapists.
