Requirements

Candidates should possess previous experience comparable to 2+ years as a clinical research monitor, a valid driver’s license where applicable, and a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a life sciences related field or a Registered Nursing certification. They should demonstrate effective clinical monitoring skills, a strong understanding of ICH GCPs, applicable regulations, and procedural documents, and possess excellent oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

The Clinical Research Monitor will monitor investigator sites with a risk-based monitoring approach, ensuring data accuracy through SDR, SDV, and CRF review, assessing investigational products through inventory and records review, and detailing observations using approved business writing standards. They will advance deficiencies to clinical management promptly, conduct monitoring tasks in accordance with the approved monitoring plan, participate in the investigator payment process, provide trial status tracking and progress updates, ensure study systems are updated, participate in investigator meetings, identify potential investigators, initiate clinical trial sites, ensure trial close out, conduct on-site file reviews, contribute to project publications/tools, facilitate communication between sites and the PPD team, respond to regulatory requirements, maintain administrative tasks, and contribute to process improvement initiatives.
