Responsibilities

  • Take ownership of the Salesforce CPQ implementation through all phases of development
  • As the CPQ subject matter expert, provide guidance to ensure best practices are followed
  • Work closely with the Pricing and Packaging Committee and Product Operations Teams and other System Analysts to guide, elicit, translate and document business requirements and deliver scalable and reliable solutions
  • Continuously optimize the Salesforce CPQ system to align with evolving business needs ensuring it aligns with best practices
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to introduce new products/product bundles and modify existing ones within the Salesforce CPQ framework
  • Oversee the configuration and management of Price Rules, Product Rules, Discount Schedules, Product Master, Approval Processes and Custom Script (Quote Calculator Plugin)
  • Partner with Product Operations and Sales Enablement to effectively release changes to Production
  • Create and maintain Solution Design Proposal documents and Technical Design documentation to support implemented solutions
  • Stay abreast of platform changes introduced by vendors
