Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or other related field
  • Previous experience in Finance and/or Cost Accounting in a manufacturing/production environment
  • Knowledgeable in the areas of GAAP, Cost Accounting, Fixed Assets, General Ledger Accounting, Payroll, and SOX
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and knowledge of SAP ERP systems
  • Strong leadership and critical thinking skills
  • Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to adapt to new working environments
  • Must reside in the United States to be considered (sponsorship not available)

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and analyze daily, weekly, and monthly production cost reports
  • Support the plant self-audit program, including fixed asset and inventory reviews
  • Assist with annual operating and capital budgets
  • Serve as backup for payroll processing and controller-related weekly tasks
  • Review financial data and explain spending and cost variances
  • Develop and maintain spreadsheets and reports for management and ad-hoc requests
  • Support cost savings and efficiency projects through data analysis
  • Maintain accurate standard costing, including bills of materials (BOMs) and production standards
  • Participate in month-end close, financial forecasts, and annual planning
  • Provide cost estimates and financial analysis for new products and process improvements
