Responsibilities

  • Review corporate tax returns for Irish headquartered companies, multinationals, and local Irish companies
  • Conduct quality reviews of corporate tax client deliverables, including returns, tax provisioning, accounting, and reporting
  • Meet with clients to discuss key tax law changes and their impact on tax liability, reporting, and disclosure obligations
  • Correspond with Revenue regarding Compliance Intervention Notifications
  • Interact with Deloitte offices worldwide for globally coordinated tax compliance engagements
  • Research tax technical compliance matters, including application of global tax developments to Irish companies
  • Contribute to tax technology and tax transformation projects, designing future corporate tax compliance processes
  • Identify cross-selling opportunities within the compliance portfolio and refer to other tax departments or the firm
  • Assist in identifying strategic direction and evolution of the Global Delivery Service Model
  • Support Corporate Tax Compliance Centre Directors and Partners in management, strategic direction, and advancement
  • Mentor, coach, and motivate onshore and offshore trainee groups, including performance appraisals
  • Assist with planning and development of the team and function
