Requirements
High School Diploma or equivalent
Generally, 0 to 4 years of related experience
Maintain certifications for AED/CPR and First Aid
Maintain a valid Driver’s License and a satisfactory driving record
Obtain and maintain a valid Concealed Carry Firearms License
Required to complete annual firearms qualification
Serves as a first responder and maintains AED, CPR, and First Aid Certifications
Physical ability to perform essential job functions onsite, including continuous and prolonged walking and standing (up to 10 miles in an 8-hour shift), frequent lifting/carrying/pushing/pulling of objects up to 50 lbs, frequent climbing/bending/twisting/stooping/kneeling/crawling, overhead reaching and grabbing
Requires regular and predictable attendance
Candidates with previous corporate security, military background, or a background/degree (projected or completed) in criminal justice are encouraged to apply
Responsibilities
Monitors premises to ensure the safety of people and property, protecting against damage, fire, theft, trespassing, and illegal entry
Provides physical security through presence and vigilant observation
Collaborates with team members to address customer inquiries, resolve issues, and enhance overall customer satisfaction
Utilizes multiple web-based platforms and programs to monitor satellite offices globally
Monitors satellite offices connected to our access control system from the Cincinnati Campus Security Operations Centers (SOCs)
Decides when to escalate alerts to the appropriate contacts during onsite or offsite alarms
Provides ground safety and security on behalf of the Flight Department
Aids with deliveries
May participate in Executive Protection details
Conducts routine tours of premises to ensure doors, windows, and gates (if applicable) are secured
Audits security equipment (cameras, access card readers, turnstiles, door locks and contacts, alarm switches, etc.) to meet security requirements
Reports atypical situations to management
Ensures identification of employees or visitors by monitoring traffic flow, reviewing recording devices, interviewing unfamiliar individuals, and validating badges
Investigates disturbances and, in the event of an emergency, maintains order and safety of personnel
Collects and completes paperwork, including incident reports, other assigned reports, and daily activity logs
Identifies, assesses, and provides recommendations to resolve activities, situations, or conditions that could expose company assets to potential harm
May serve as a liaison with police or other emergency response personnel
Maintains a valid firearms license and may be required to carry the firearm on duty after initial training period
