Requirements

  • 1+ years experience as Social Media Manager managing social networks for top FMCG clients
  • Strong background working with digital and social agencies
  • Excel in producing engaging and creative social media and digital work across planning, strategy, and media
  • Editorial background and creative skills such as Photoshop (advantageous)
  • In-depth knowledge of platform algorithms, formats, and audience behaviour (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, X, etc.)
  • Camera friendly and good with shooting content from a phone

Responsibilities

  • Manage all content for the brand and build an engaging community on social media
  • Plan, create, write copy, and curate engaging content tailored to each platform
  • Develop and maintain a consistent brand voice and aesthetic
  • Stay updated with emerging social trends, tools, and content innovations
  • Monitor DMs, comments, and mentions; engage with audience, manage brand reputation, and escalate issues
  • Track performance metrics (reach, engagement, follower growth, etc.) and analyse insights to optimise content and campaigns
  • Work with designers, copywriters, and performance teams to roll out campaigns
  • Coordinate influencer partnerships and cross-functional initiatives
  • Manage content for the brand across social, e-comm, and website
  • Curate copy for the brand's social media handles
  • Grow brand’s social media and YouTube follower base aggressively by creating content, mapping performance, analysing competition, engaging with influencer community, and managing online reputation
  • Repurpose existing content for different uses
  • Master a variety of brand voices
  • Work closely with clients to create strong concepts from initial briefing through to execution
  • Set tone and drive creativity, working closely with Creative Director-Copy (CD/Account Director) and Data Strategists to ensure creative excellence
  • Maintain high awareness of relevant trending topics and news to identify content opportunities
  • Work with internal teams to gather input and validate content
  • Ensure consistency and quality across all written content
  • Present and articulate concepts to clients
  • Handle posting and scheduling of all content; keep content and cultural calendar up to date
