Requirements

  • High School education preferred
  • Four to six months work experience preferably in a purchasing/inventory environment
  • Basic knowledge of Word, Excel, Outlook, and Windows
  • Able to perform essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation, including occasional lifting up to 50 pounds, frequent lifting, walking, standing, moderate climbing, occasional sitting, stooping, and kneeling
  • Adequate fitness level to meet job demands
  • Willingness to use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) per Distribution Center requirements
  • Availability for shift work, overtime, weekends, and/or holidays
  • Communication Skills: Effectively communicate with co-workers and management team
  • Physically Capable: Necessary hand and motor skills for essential work activities
  • Quality Conscious: Committed to high standards and ensuring work is correct

Responsibilities

  • Cycle counts to ensure parts are available when needed
  • Generates work orders through the MP2 (Maintenance Management) system
  • Receives and distributes supplies as needed
  • Enters inventory data into MP2 system
  • Sends out equipment for repair
  • Records technician’s time on work order and closes them out
  • Downloads parts scanned out into MP2 system
  • Follows set safety procedures and guidelines to maximize personal safety
  • Maintains an organized work area and promotes a safe working environment with the Maintenance department
  • Follows all Company policies and procedures
  • All other duties as assigned
