Requirements

Responsibilities

  • Budget management (maintenance and cleaning)
  • Handle daily requests from employees
  • Direct supervision of the vendor
  • Local project coordination
  • Responsible for daily interface and coordination of all facilities related activities for respective building(s) and/or business unit to ensure high quality and timely delivery of building maintenance and housekeeping services
  • Maintain open communication between the tenant and Facilities
  • Drive strategic and analytical planning to optimize building and facility services guided by industry benchmark standards including space utilization (move service center, furniture/ergonomics), energy efficiency, Service Agreement deliverables, and On-Demand activities
  • Ensure the Service Provider delivers efficient and timely execution of all facility services in Maintenance, Housekeeping, Roads & Grounds services, as well as drive continuous improvements and share lessons learned
  • Drive successful planning and execution of Global Manufacturing System (GMS) principles and elements
  • Support workspace transformation projects by engaging with the Space Planning team in change management for group moves including move process checklist, customer orientation, and occupancy surveys
  • Ensure resolution of daily tenant needs and longer-term projects by pulling in required resources such as Engineering, Resource Management, Communications and Administration Services
  • Meet GM Global Safety standards, including Speak up for Safety, Global Call to Action, Safety Observation Tours, employee safety concerns, incident investigation, safety module compliance, and sentinel events
