Requirements

  • 4 year Degree/Diploma in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology (preferred)
  • 5 years as an Electrical Engineer
  • Valid passport and willingness to travel
  • 4+ years using AutoCAD, MS Office Suite including Project
  • 4+ years with electrical safety code and its application in industrial wiring and power distribution
  • 4+ years working with PLC and HMI applications (including RSlinx, RSlogix5, 500, 5000, & Factory Talk View)
  • 4+ years with PLC & HMI systems design, programming, commissioning and start up including system hardware selection, I/O panels and subsystems layout and wiring

Responsibilities

  • Supporting the Electrical Engineering department and assist with project deliverables
  • Providing electrical assistance including troubleshooting, project engineering and project management to all Plants
  • Updating existing legacy technologies in different plants to current standards
  • Electrical project management including scheduling, financial, and management of contractors’ work
  • Labor-hour estimation, work planning, scheduling, coordination, and reporting
  • Updating schematic drawings in AutoCAD as required
  • Programming automation and controls systems and improving existing PLC programs including servo drives and A/C drives
  • Design, test, commission, start up, recondition & work with current equipment configurations & Engineer new technologies
