Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required; paralegal certificate or equivalent legal training strongly preferred
  • 3–6 years of experience in a contracts, legal operations, or paralegal role supporting vendor or sales agreements
  • Familiarity with commercial contract principles, procurement processes, and sales operations
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills across cross-functional teams
  • Experience with contract lifecycle management (CLM) systems a plus
  • U.S. citizenship required (ITAR)

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and direct Hadrian’s contracting activities across all business areas, ensuring legal, operational, and strategic alignment
  • Drive complex, multi-year technology programs from initial capture through successful transition to Department of Defense programs of record
  • Develop and implement contracting best practices that balance compliance, agility, and business efficiency
  • Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of vendor and customer contracts, including intake, drafting, negotiation, execution, and renewal
  • Draft, review, and negotiate a broad range of commercial agreements, such as NDAs, purchase orders, master service agreements, and sales contracts
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders — including Sales, Finance, Operations, and Compliance — to ensure contracts meet business needs and adhere to legal and regulatory standards
  • Track key contract terms, deliverables, renewals, and obligations using contract management systems to maintain transparency and accountability
  • Maintain and continuously improve contract templates, clause libraries, and document repositories to support efficiency and consistency
  • Identify and implement process improvements to streamline contracting workflows and reduce turnaround times
  • Partner closely with Legal, Compliance, and Sales Operations teams to ensure alignment of contracting activities with company objectives
  • Provide strategic counsel and administrative oversight to improve contract operations and strengthen Hadrian’s legal infrastructure
  • Represent the legal function in negotiations and internal discussions with key executives, engineers, vendors, and customers
