Requirements

Candidates must possess a minimum of a NEBOSH Construction/General Certificate and have experience in construction environments. Knowledge of the auditing process is required, and a CSCS Card is desirable. A Diploma (preferably L6) and an auditing qualification (45001/14001) are also desirable.

Responsibilities

The Contractor Compliance & CDM Officer will work closely with the Contractor Compliance & CDM Manager to ensure safe delivery of Facilities Project work and Contractor Controls, promoting best practice. This role involves active engagement with the Facilities Team and supporting wider business works, while developing strong relationships with contractors. Responsibilities include carrying out focused Health & Safety Inspections, ensuring closure of raised actions, collating information, and creating reports on findings. The officer will also be expected to problem-solve, develop workable solutions, provide guidance for business compliance, carry out investigations, create reporting and statistical analysis, and promote best practice across all FM works/projects. Proactive engagement across all MBDA UK sites on a regular basis is also a key responsibility.
