Requirements

Candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, with a minimum of 3 years of experience creating engaging social media content, preferably in the social impact space. Responsibilities

The Social Media Specialist will be responsible for creating and maintaining active TikTok and Instagram channels with an established tone of voice, crafting high-performance video and static social media posts about the Change.org brand and petitions, sourcing content from petition starters, UGC, and online sources. They will identify compelling issues, news stories, and trends to elevate campaigns through social media, deliver/edit templates reflecting the German brand, increase activity on Facebook and Bluesky channels, and upskill the team on core social skills. They will also be expected to work across differences, providing support to policy-compliant campaigns even when disagreements exist, aligning with Change.org’s commitment to being an open platform.
