Requirements

Candidates must possess at least 7 years of solid commercial software development experience, including 2 years of team leadership experience. A minimum of 2 years of experience developing and delivering Flutter-based apps is required, along with 2 to 5 years of experience in native iOS/Android or front-end web development. Experience working with distributed global software development teams, a good understanding of state management, Flutter flavors, and app architecture are also essential. The ideal candidate is self-directed, challenge-driven, possesses strong interpersonal and communication skills, has a strong command of English, and is available for meetings between 7-11 am PT. Experience with marketplaces, Firebase, Azure DevOps, and PWA is a plus.

Responsibilities

The Engineering Lead will lead and mentor team members, manage projects by communicating with product and engineering leads, and provide technical guidance and support to the team. Responsibilities include designing, developing, testing, maintaining, and deploying software using the Flutter framework and Dart language. The lead will also run the agile development process, including estimation, sprint planning, and standups, and collaborate with senior engineers to create a robust technical roadmap.
