Requirements

  • 5-8 years of experience in the Outdoor industry, transportation, or blend of hard and softgoods
  • Bachelors or Masters degree in Industrial Design, Product Design, or a related field
  • Strong visual and verbal communication skills
  • Strong knowledge in manufacturing
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Preference for ability to work onsite in South San Francisco, CA (Hybrid: onsite Monday, Wednesday, Thursday)

Responsibilities

  • Conduct research on materials, sustainability, and manufacturing processes
  • Collaborate closely with the CMF lead and design team on solutions that support the brand vision
  • Develop and execute beautiful and functional interior color, material, and finish strategies
  • Communicate and present CMF concepts, ideas, and solutions to internal and external stakeholders
  • Stay up to date with cross-industry trends, technology advancements, and best practices in CMF design and sustainable materials industries
  • Contribute to a physical CMF library and digital database
