Requirements

  • 0-1+ years' work experience in Music industry or Digital Media, Entertainment, Technology, or related fields
  • Familiarity with anti-piracy, copyright, or trademarks preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 including Outlook, Word, and Excel
  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Highly organized with demonstrated attention to detail
  • Self-starter with an ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Significant understanding of digital technologies, especially music platforms and mobile apps
  • Strong organizational skills including follow-through and execution
  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal & written
  • Passion for music and digital music platforms
  • Fluency in Spanish or Portuguese (preferred)
  • Advanced knowledge of Office 365 including Excel (preferred)
  • Experienced in working with large datasets and/or databases including SQL language (preferred)
  • Excellent presentation skills (e.g., PowerPoint) along with a willingness to speak publicly amongst peers and senior managers (preferred)

Responsibilities

  • Assess & review online uses of UMG digital and physical assets (including publishing), to detect infringement of our rights
  • Handling inquiries from our internal business units and labels (including Spanish-speaking labels)
  • Work with our international trade groups to enforce our rights
  • Staying abreast of digital trends related to the recording industry
