Requirements

  • 3+ years’ experience in content with proven ability to craft concise, user-friendly copy
  • Exceptional written and verbal communications skills
  • Demonstrated ability to use content strategy, personas, and user research to inform copywriting decisions
  • English proficiency required for regular interactions with English-speaking stakeholders across Canada
  • Must be eligible for Reliability Clearance Status

Responsibilities

  • Work in a cross-functional agile scrum team, delivering UX copy for product features in two-week sprints
  • Develop user-centric, plain language content in English for a digital platform that addresses the needs, concerns, and challenges of the end user
  • Oversee French translation, coordinating with translation team and conducting reviews to ensure accuracy, cultural relevance, consistency and quality of French content
  • Write with inclusivity and accessibility in mind, ensuring content resonates with all Canadians
  • Support product design efforts in the area of content design and UX copywriting
  • Collaborate with usability team to apply findings and insights gathered from user research sessions
  • Ensure user and customer content is consistent, clear, and cohesive, following business terminology guidelines as well as voice and tone standards
  • Work alongside research and design team, as well as in collaboration with business stakeholders, following the established standards for the content design craft
  • Focus on re-use and delivery accelerators to ensure product designs are delivered on schedule
  • Identify risks and pain points as they arise
  • Work autonomously and meet deadlines associated with sprint schedules, as well as come together with team members to collaborate, brainstorm, and share perspectives
