Requirements

<2 years of experience for Associate Consultant; >2 years for Consultant in database work or health outcomes research, or in relevant pharmaceutical industry roles such as commercial analysis, marketing, market access, epidemiology, pharmacovigilance, outcomes research, health economics, EBR/RWD, or biostatistics
Experience typically acquired in healthcare consulting, pharmaceutical industry or other health industry, academic or government research organization, or health services research setting
Good understanding of the pharmaceutical reimbursement process in Canada (advantageous)
Experience conducting analyses in databases and/or registries (advantageous)
Longitudinal patient-level data analysis (advantageous)
Good understanding of outcomes research theory and practical knowledge of implementing research projects (advantageous)
Strong quantitative skills
Proficiency in Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
High literacy level – capable of writing

Responsibilities

Support delivery of a wide range of client projects in pharmaceuticals and medical devices in Canada, including market access projects, retrospective database studies, business strategy, health economic analyses, patient journeys, access measures, and other varied engagements
Contribute to study design and methodology development
Develop innovative approaches, frameworks, and solutions to client problems
Assist in preparing study protocols and report drafts
Analyze and interpret qualitative and quantitative real-world data for deliverables
Perform ad hoc project tasks
Prepare presentations, summaries, and manuscripts related to projects, including for scientific conference presentations and journal submissions
Conduct primary and secondary research
Organize workshops and moderated discussions
Present results to external clients
Work with supervision in project teams and take responsibility for timely, high-quality execution of defined tasks
Assist in overall project management and client management
Attend client meetings and other external meetings, typically accompanied by a colleague
Review and analyze client requirements or issues to help develop project proposals
Produce initial drafts of proposals based on client RFPs and supporting information
