Operational implementation skills in accounting processes (transactional and closing) and/or management processes
Responsibilities
Accompany internal finance teams during closing, reporting preparation, and budgeting phases
Externalize preparation of consolidated accounts
Manage externalized projects for implementing finance/reporting/consolidation systems (EPM)
Optimize and secure accounting processes (transactional and closing), management processes (internal reporting, budgeting), and finance organization for efficiency and reduced deadlines
Structure internal control (diagnosis, design, deployment)
Overhaul analytical accounting, particularly in new ERP Finance setups
Define financial and operational indicators to pilot activities and aid decision-making
Design and automate target reporting (e.g., dashboarding under Power BI)
Support EPM tool deployments
Overhaul budgeting processes (annual budget, 5-year plan, rolling forecast)
Identify impacts and implement accounting standards changes (e.g., IFRS transition)
Support IPO introductions: pre-IPO diagnostics, financial information preparation (consolidated/combined accounts, proforma info, offering documents), project management with advisors and market authorities
Assist in acquisitions/divestitures: upstream initiation (accounting structuring, due diligence), ad hoc accounts preparation, downstream financial integration (post-merger support, purchase price allocation, impairment tests, consolidation/reporting processes at target)
Implement operational competencies in accounting processes (transactional and closing) and/or management processes within client projects, integrated in experienced consultant teams
