Candidates must have over 10 years of experience supervising and managing construction in the field as a commercial or industrial Construction Superintendent or Project Manager. They should demonstrate experience with project and construction estimating, along with project management skills related to performance, budget, schedules, and adherence to control gates. Knowledge of facility operations and maintenance procedures is essential, as well as familiarity with various types of commercial and industrial construction, including tools, techniques, materials, operations, and procedures. Candidates should also possess knowledge in construction skill trades such as concrete forming, masonry, plumbing, HVAC, electrical, and roofing. Proficiency in AutoCAD and MSOffice Suite is required, along with knowledge of federal, state, and local building and safety codes. A proven record of adhering to tight schedules is necessary.
The Construction Project Manager will act as the liaison, coordinating with U.S. government representatives at multiple levels to ensure valid cost proposals are received. They will manage a multi-project portfolio from conception to closeout, review and comment on design drawings, and inspect the work of the construction contractor during the construction phase to ensure accurate materials, placement, and proper installation.
