Requirements

  • 15+ years in construction, with 5+ years as Construction Manager or Superintendent
  • Degree in Engineering or Diploma in Construction Management; trade background an asset
  • Strong experience managing EPC/EPCM/D&C/TK contracts (client-side preferred)
  • Background in mining or heavy industrial projects highly valued
  • Proven leadership, conflict resolution, and contractor management skills
  • Knowledge of current construction codes and safety regulations
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Bilingual (English/French) required

Responsibilities

  • Lead construction planning, execution, and supervision on-site
  • Champion safety culture and compliance with all HSE standards
  • Manage cost, schedule, quality, and scope performance
  • Coordinate with engineering teams on design reviews and constructability
  • Oversee contractor performance, RFIs, submittals, and change management
  • Support procurement, progress reporting, and cost tracking
  • Conduct site inspections, lead weekly meetings, and provide clear documentation
  • Assist with commissioning, turnover, and closeout activities
