Requirements

  • High School or GED Equivalent
  • 1-3 years experience in health care, program administration, hospitality or customer service industry
  • Visual acuity adequate to perform position duties
  • Ability to communicate effectively with others, hear, understand and distinguish speech and other sounds
  • Ability to work varied day/evening shifts (4 and 12 hour shifts), including some weekends, evenings, and holidays (PRN position)

Responsibilities

  • Greet patients, families, visitors, and other customer groups and provide helpful direction to internal and external customers
  • Serve as an information resource and navigator for patients, families, staff, and the community
  • Promote services within the facility and/or department, collaborating with appropriate departments to ensure information is current and up to date
  • Provide technology support by assisting with technology needs, room scheduling, equipment needs, room set-up and tear down as needed
  • Identify trends of inquiry and make recommendations regarding gaps of service and ideas for process improvement
