Responsibilities

  • Leverage expertise in user experience, design systems, user interface design, and how micro-interactions help users accomplish tasks
  • Transform nebulous concepts into precise ideas to create practical and enjoyable end-to-end product experiences
  • Design simple, elegant, and user-friendly systems, flows, and interfaces
  • Understand how to best use the current design system to ensure consistency across platforms and contribute to its continuous improvement
  • Draw conclusions from research and data and transform them into concrete solutions
  • Build relationships with users and advocate for them in collaboration with cross-functional teams in product, engineering, and marketing; oversee the user experience from design to launch
  • Provide a positive role model, promote the culture within the design team, and champion design quality at Lightspeed
