Responsibilities

  • Assisting the MLRO in managing the AML, CTF, and Sanctions risk framework
  • Overseeing the implementation of monitoring and screening tools, ensuring systems meet local regulatory requirements, and updating relevant manuals and procedures
  • Providing model and technology advisory support for FCC models
  • Performing 2nd Line model oversight and reviews
  • Receiving escalations relating to complex AML, CTF, and Sanctions risk cases
  • Providing advice and recommendations on next steps for higher risk cases
  • Ensuring that FCC policies and guidance align with Global documents and current legal and regulatory requirements
  • Maintaining FCC Policies, Standards, Protocols, Waivers, and Dispensations
  • Providing guidance and training to the first line of defence on policy implementation
  • Developing and delivering FCC training and awareness programs
  • Recommending and implementing actions to mitigate financial crime risks
  • Contributing towards establishing Risk Appetite thresholds
  • Contributing to change management programs and internal Policy development as an FCC subject matter expert
