Candidates should have 2-5 years of experience in compliance, risk management, audit, or quality assurance, or equivalent experience from projects, internships, or transferable roles in regulated environments. A strong interest in financial services and regulation, particularly consumer banking/lending rules like UDAAP, CCPA, TILA/Reg Z, Reg B, Reg E, and Reg DD, is essential. The role requires meticulous attention to detail, comfort with technology and learning new systems, the ability to communicate complex information clearly, a collaborative approach, and proactive problem-solving skills. Professional certifications such as CRCM, CAMS, or CIA are considered a plus.
The Compliance Program Analyst will support the daily operations of the Compliance Management System (CMS), ensuring policies, training, and partner deliverables are accurate and timely. Responsibilities include performing periodic compliance testing and monitoring, documenting control deficiencies, and recommending remediation. The analyst will also assist in scheduling and preparing CMS reviews, maintaining organized compliance documentation, and updating policies and procedures. Additionally, they will help create and distribute compliance training materials, track training completion, and manage training records. The role involves collecting, verifying, and submitting documentation for bank partner audits and requests, logging and tracking compliance incidents, monitoring remediation efforts, and supporting basic monitoring activities to ensure adherence to policies and regulations.
