Candidates must possess extensive knowledge of healthcare regulations, coding, and billing standards including CMS, Medicaid, CARF, HIPAA, and 42 CFR Part 2. A strong understanding of clinical documentation integrity and audit standards is essential, along with exceptional verbal and written communication skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
The Compliance Partner will implement and monitor regional compliance activities, identify risk trends, and develop mitigation strategies. Responsibilities include developing and delivering compliance training, conducting investigations of compliance concerns such as billing errors and potential fraud, waste, or abuse, and performing regular reviews of clinical documentation and medical claims for accuracy and coding compliance. They will also partner with HR and leadership on disciplinary actions and report findings to the Vice President of Compliance Culture.
