Requirements

Candidates should be students or recent graduates in Marketing, Communications, Education, or related fields, possessing a genuine interest in online communities and social media platforms, particularly Facebook Groups. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English are required, with Chinese or Spanish language proficiency being a plus. The ideal candidate should be organized, reliable, and capable of managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating a friendly, proactive, and creative personality. Familiarity with the U.S. K-12 education system and an interest in Educational Technology is also desired.

Responsibilities

As a Community Operations Intern, the role involves welcoming and engaging new group members, assisting with moderating group discussions and enforcing group rules, helping plan and create engaging posts, polls, or events, supporting in preparing group communications and member spotlights, monitoring group activity and providing feedback, and collecting and organizing community feedback to improve products and content. The intern will also work closely with the operations and content team to coordinate content strategy, group campaigns, or initiatives.
