Requirements

  • Ability to report to the building each day and cover the front desk during set business hours
  • Warm and welcoming demeanor for greeting members and guests
  • Capability to learn names of members and guests to build relationships
  • Ability to anticipate member and guest needs and personalize experiences
  • Knowledge of WeWork's guest policy and use of Welkio iPad for sign-ins
  • Familiarity with building-specific forms (e.g., pet forms, filming requests, bike room requests)
  • Ability to keep front desk clean and organized
  • Knowledge of building policies, procedures, community etiquette, and way-finding
  • Ability to provide feedback on events and evaluate based on attendance, satisfaction, and impact
  • Proficiency in inputting notes into Kube or equivalent system
  • Activity on the WeWork member network
  • Knowledge of local resources (restaurants, delivery, catering, venues, post office, shipping, supplies)

Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary point of contact and “face” of WeWork for the Community
  • Support the Community Management team under direction from Community Lead and Manager
  • Build a welcoming and collaborative community through events and member relationships
  • Ensure the building is fully operational with efficient processes
  • Drive growth and promotion of WeWork-provided service offerings
  • Cover the front desk and serve as on-site point of contact
  • Greet members and guests warmly
  • Ensure guests sign in via Welkio iPad per guest policy
  • Maintain up-to-date building-specific forms
  • Notify members of food deliveries and couriers
  • Answer member and guest questions on building-related matters
  • Provide feedback on event programming and evaluate events
  • Celebrate members’ successes and milestones with gifts and notes
  • Distribute event information, including creating and posting weekly and individual event posters
  • Ensure operational requirements for events (e.g., elevators, HVAC)
  • Identify and execute opportunities to connect members
  • Be active on the WeWork member network to engage members
