  • Proven experience in communication planning, preferably within a corporate or agency setting (typically 5-8 years in a related field)
  • Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills
  • Proficiency in using communication tools and platforms, including social media, content management systems, and analytics software
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work
  • Blend of strategic, analytical, and creative skills with a deep understanding of audience behavior and media consumption
  • Specialized skills in audience segmentation & behavioral insights, omnichannel strategy development, data analytics & performance measurement, persuasive & adaptive messaging, and customer retention & loyalty
  • Ability to work in office 5 days per week in Dallas, TX or El Segundo, CA (no relocation offered)

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategic communication plans to support company initiatives and campaigns, ensuring messages reach the right audience at the right time
  • Conduct thorough research and analysis to understand audience behavior, preferences, and media consumption, including customer behavior and journey mapping
  • Craft targeted messages and select appropriate channels (social media, email, digital ads, traditional media, etc.) to engage the audience effectively
  • Collaborate with marketing, PR, creative, and media teams to ensure smooth execution of campaigns
  • Build and maintain strong relationships across departments to facilitate cohesive and consistent messaging
  • Analyze campaign effectiveness using KPIs, analytics tools, and customer feedback to optimize future communications
  • Stay informed on industry trends and best practices to continuously enhance communication strategies
