  • Skilled at building a strong network across a complex, global matrix to ensure effective communication of key business initiatives
  • Strategic Thinking and Planning: Knowledge of the importance of "big picture" thinking and planning; ability to apply organizational acumen and competitiveness to identify and maintain focus on key success factors for the organization. Knowledge of effective communications planning techniques and ability to contribute to strategic planning in support of the overall business plan
  • Communicating Complex Concepts: The ability to explain complex technical concepts in simple, clear language appropriate to the audience
  • Business Acumen: Knowledge of business concepts, tools, and processes that are needed

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with division leadership to create communications plans and deliverables that are aligned to the enterprise, segment and division strategy and related initiatives
  • Develop and implement an annual internal and external communications strategy supporting the business
  • Consult with senior leaders, managers and employees on messaging using the power of words, images, sounds and multi-media
  • Advise on communication formats to ensure clarity and accuracy of messaging
  • Own internal employee communications including strategy, channels, tools and messaging
  • Partner with division leaders to drive and deploy change management communications, ensuring employees and stakeholders are informed, engaged, and aligned throughout key transformation initiatives
  • Serve as a strategic communications advisor to the division’s senior vice president
  • Develop and implement a communications strategy to establish the senior vice president’s voice to their employees and to promote the division across the enterprise
  • Create effective communication strategies to be used across a variety of audiences including employees, dealers and external audiences
  • Contribute to the overall strategic business goals and plans of the division
  • Deliver communications strategies and plans; key message development; presentations for internal and external audiences; video scripts; internal articles; social media content
