Requirements

Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to efficiently learn and utilize new software applications
Ability to work in a dynamic environment, handling ad hoc projects as needed
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Strong proficiency in SQL with the ability to write complex queries blending data from various sources (experience with Python or R is a plus)
3+ years of hands-on experience with leading BI and analytics tools such as Tableau, Looker, or PowerBI, with proven ability to create intuitive and impactful visualizations
Strong competency in handling complex datasets, paired with a proactive and adaptable approach to delivering insights

Responsibilities

Support the preparation of daily and monthly mark-to-market and position reporting for Global’s front office operations
Perform general ledger account reconciliation
Conduct gross margin analytical analysis
Provide timely communication with business partners on recent developments
Work closely with other departments to address and resolve all reconciling items
Meet deadlines required for public company filings (monthly close process)
Assist with preparation and analysis of daily mark-to-market reporting
Perform monthly inventory reconciliations to AR, AP, and General Ledger, including documenting and clearing reconciling items
Conduct monthly gross margin analysis versus estimates and prior periods
Prepare month-end reporting package to senior management
