Requirements

5 years of capital markets experience with a brokerage, investment bank, or principal
Demonstrated ability to originate, underwrite, and structure relevant commercial real estate debt and equity transactions
Ability to successfully transfer key relationships to Marcus & Millichap
Superior written and verbal communication skills
Collaborative personal/professional style
Ability to effectively represent customers and business partners

Responsibilities

Originate, structure, and close commercial real estate financing transactions, including permanent loans, bridge loans, and construction loans
Partner with IPA and Marcus & Millichap investment sales agents to pitch business and secure financing opportunities
Develop and maintain strong relationships with capital sources (commercial banks, CMBS lenders, insurance companies, private equity, credit unions)
Prescreen and qualify transactions prior to underwriting and marketing
Review offering memoranda and prepare underwriting presentations
Work closely with capital sources to secure the most favorable transactions for clients
Expand relationships with key market leaders, associations, and professional organizations to generate referrals
Build relationships with developers, investors, and capital providers
