Candidates should possess tertiary qualifications in engineering/construction, law, or a similar field, along with extensive experience in contracts supporting large complex infrastructure projects. They must be able to accurately read, interpret, develop, and negotiate contract terms and conditions, and have experience in head contract management as well as providing leadership downstream to wider teams.
The Commercial Manager will oversee the preparation, submission, and negotiation of all upstream head contract claims, ensure claims are managed in accordance with contract terms, maintain a claim log, establish and manage a change control process, review contract terms for compliance, lead negotiations, resolve disputes, build and maintain relationships with stakeholders, prepare reports, and lead, coach, and develop the Commercial & Project team in commercial and contractual matters.
