Candidates should have a minimum of 4+ years of experience as a Collaboration Technology Engineer with expertise in supporting Digital Workspace platforms such as Google Workspace, Slack, Zoom, and Dropbox. They should possess strong scripting skills, particularly in Python, and experience in developing APIs. Hands-on experience in migrating repetitive workflows to automated solutions, writing Lambda functions in AWS, and utilizing CI-CD pipelines and GitHub is required. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, along with experience in supporting High Availability (HA) for collaboration platforms, are also necessary. Relevant certifications in Collaboration platforms are a plus.
The Collaboration Technology Engineer will ensure the availability, performance, security, and scalability of collaboration platforms. They will develop and maintain custom scripts to automate tasks, manage and maintain APIs, and troubleshoot/triage service incidents. The role involves working with the core engineering team to address bugs and deploy services, collaborating with infrastructure teams to scale for service capacity, and creating service health dashboards. Additionally, they will implement alarms, maintain and update Dropbox Live SOP, troubleshoot and resolve issues with collaboration platforms, and implement corrective actions as needed. They will also serve as a POC for LiveOps and work effectively in cross-functional teams.
