Requirements

PhD or MSc in computer science, electrical engineering, or related field, with specialization in computer vision, generative models, or deep learning
Proven experience in applied research or product development in an academic or industrial setting
Strong understanding of image synthesis techniques, object detection, GANs, or related domains
Entrepreneurial mindset and strong desire to build and lead a startup
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Experience in startups or industry is an asset, but not mandatory

Responsibilities

Collaborate with the TandemLaunch team to identify, shape, and validate a deep tech business opportunity in computer vision or GAN-based generative models
Leverage applied research experience to guide the development of intellectual property and product prototypes
Lead early technical developments and proof-of-concept demonstrations
Work alongside a team of entrepreneurs, strategists, and technical advisors to build an investor-backed company
Evolve into a CTO or Chief Scientist role upon company creation, and contribute to building a world-class R&D team
