Requirements

  • PhD or MSc in computer science, electrical engineering, or related field, with specialization in computer vision, generative models, or deep learning
  • Proven experience in applied research or product development in an academic or industrial setting
  • Strong understanding of image synthesis techniques, object detection, GANs, or related domains
  • Entrepreneurial mindset and strong desire to build and lead a startup
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Experience in startups or industry is an asset, but not mandatory

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the TandemLaunch team to identify, shape, and validate a deep tech business opportunity in computer vision or GAN-based generative models
  • Leverage applied research experience to guide the development of intellectual property and product prototypes
  • Lead early technical developments and proof-of-concept demonstrations
  • Work alongside a team of entrepreneurs, strategists, and technical advisors to build an investor-backed company
  • Evolve into a CTO or Chief Scientist role upon company creation, and contribute to building a world-class R&D team
