Requirements

CMM experience in aerospace, defense, or high-precision manufacturing
Expert-level Verisurf programming and operation
Strong background in machining processes and inspection of tight-tolerance components
Fluent in GD&T, blueprint reading, and CAD model interpretation
Familiar with hand inspection tools — micrometers, indicators, height gages, etc
Understands ISO 9001 / AS9100 environments
Detail-driven, self-directed, and thrives on getting it right
Demonstrates a strong work ethic and ambition, complemented by effective collaboration skills in a team setting
Excels in a high-energy, independent, and challenging work environment
U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident of the U.S., protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C 1324b(a)(3), or eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State (ITAR Requirement)

Responsibilities

Program and operate CMMs using Verisurf for first-article, in-process, and final inspections
Create and debug inspection routines from 3D CAD models and 2D engineering prints
Interpret and apply GD&T per ASME Y14.5 to real-world inspection problems
Inspect high-precision aerospace parts and assemblies, often with tight tolerances and complex geometry
Work shoulder-to-shoulder with machinists, manufacturing engineers, and quality engineers to resolve nonconformances and improve part quality
Document inspection results and support customer-facing quality records
Help maintain and calibrate CMMs and other metrology tools to ensure readiness and accuracy
Support root cause analysis and continuous improvement efforts
