Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 8+ years of work experience required
  • Significant industry-related experience demonstrating the ability to problem-solve, manage projects and prioritize workload with minimum supervision
  • Product and procedural expertise related to HCP education programs
  • MBA preferred
  • 5+ years medical device or Medical Education experience preferred
  • Excellent presentation and interpersonal communications skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects while delivering on established timelines
  • Ability to be persuasive in the absence of organizational authority
  • Must be able to understand and work within complex interdivisional procedures and policies

Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver an annual educational strategy
  • Collaborate with key opinion leaders to design educational materials
  • Develop new methods to increase effectiveness including online education and applications
  • Demonstrate collaboration with broader Medical Education/product marketing/sales training, etc
  • Lead the project management of Medical Education programs
  • Anticipate development of new Medical Education platform, analyze needs and priorities based on business needs and budget allocation
  • Develop and analyze Medical Education program metrics to measure effectiveness and drive strategy
  • Develop and support strategy and vision (short to long term)
  • Manage Medical Education offering in accordance with P&L requirement
  • Define plan and prioritize investments
  • Manage KOL network as well as “up and coming” thought leaders
  • Continuously look for excellence in the development in Medical Education offering
  • Develop and adapt Medical Education programs to customer needs and business priorities
  • Actively participate in the long-term vision of the department
  • Articulate a communication strategy per media channels impacts
  • Define desired communications outcomes consistent with Medical Education strategy
