Experience with security as code, CI/CD integration, and DevSecOps collaboration is necessary. Familiarity with AWS IAM, security monitoring tools, compliance frameworks like SOC 2, ISO 27001, and NIST, and data protection controls is also required.
The Cloud Security Specialist will design and implement AWS security architectures, develop cloud security roadmaps, and establish security standards and policies. Responsibilities include integrating security into CI/CD pipelines, automating security processes, managing cloud security monitoring, conducting investigations, and implementing IAM solutions. The role also involves ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, performing risk assessments, and collaborating with DevOps teams to embed security throughout the cloud deployment lifecycle.
